Topped Brie

May 15, 2009

The Lady loves to take a half-pound round of Brie and “top” it with all kinds of goodies to make it even better. She says you can go sweet or you can go savory. Either one works great and will impress your guests. Here are a few examples of Bries she has topped:

Pesto, Tomatoes & Kalamatas

Other toppings to consider:

Peppadews and Peach Chutney

Artichoke Pesto and Kalamata Olives

Dried Apples, Cranberries, Pecans and Caramel Sauce

Peach Chutney and Pecans

Raspberry Preserves and Black Peppercorns

Actually, you can do most anything when topping Brie.

  1. Normally I am not a fan of topped bries. To many strange jarred caramel sauce and other odd creations. These on the other hand look wonderful. I can’t wait to try them.
